<p><strong>Artist : Inge Claussen</strong></p>
<p>This gifted artist was born in Hamburg, Germany, where she spent her childhood. At the age of 11, she started experimenting in pen sketching, pastel and watercolour under the guidance of her father, who was an artist and a poet. She attended Fine Art School in Germany as well as study sessions in major art galleries.</p>
<p>After Inge Claussen emigrated to Canada she settled in Montreal, but has been traveling extensively all over Canada and Eastern Canada and the United States. Her prime fascination lies in the quaint corners of the many areas she has visited and these are a continuous inspiration for her fine city scenes and landscapes.</p>
<p>Her paintings are living testimony of her fondness for her new homeland, and her mood-evoking works have been acquired by galleries, private and corporate collectors in Europe, Canada and the United States.</p>
