Exchange Policy

All products are checked for quality before dispatch. While we use our best efforts to ensure that the product is delivered to you in perfect condition, the product can be damaged in the delivery process.

We offer exchange and refund if you received a damaged, defective, wrongly shipped product, or you are not totally satisfied with the product. The Request for Refund or Exchange must be made within 15 days of receiving the shipment. Please follow the simple steps in the Return and Exchange Procedure.

Return and Exchange Procedure

1. You can email the following information to CustomerService
  • Your order number
  • Product number
  • Product description
  • Reason for the exchange return: damaged, defective, wrong product
  • Digital image of the problem: damage area or defective part.

2. We will send you an authorization number by email with instructions on how to return it.  Do not return any product without an authorization number as it will not be received. In case the product is no longer in stock, we'll exchange it for another similar to the original, with your approval, or refund the value of the product in the same way the original payment was done.

3. You can always return your items to any of our stores for a refund

4. The products have to be in their original packaging ready to be re-sold.

Please note that we don't cover or refund the return shipping fees, unless an item is faulty or if you received incorrect items.

Shipping

We receive a 40% discount from Canada Post for our freight. We only charge our customers the same shipping fee Canada Post Charges us. We don't overcharge for shipping. We don't charge a handling fee either.

Currency

All prices shown on our website are in Canadian dollars and do not include sales taxes and shipping fees.

Sales tax

For orders shipped in Canada, depending on the destination, the appropriate HST/GST will be added to the order. Maple Syrup, Cookies, Tea and Salmon are tax-free products.

For orders shipped outside Canada, no sales tax will be added.

Shipping Options in Canada

For orders in Canada, at the checkout, you will decide if you want to use regular or expedited service by Canada Post. 
   
You will qualify for free delivery if the purchase exceeds $100 before tax for online orders only.

Store Pickup Option

You can also choose to pick up your order at our store Royal Canadian Gifts at 229 Spadina Avenue, Toronto, M5T 2E2, phone number 4165981988. Once we have your order ready, we will contact you by email. You, or someone you send, can pick it up. For your protection, please make sure you bring or send the receipt.

International Shipments Sales Tax, import tax and other charges

Orders shipped outside Canada are not subject to sales tax. The customer is responsible for making sure that the import of the products they are sending or taking to their country is legal, and they are responsible for any custom duty, import tax, customs fees and any other charges that may have to be paid in their countries.

Shipping Options for China

Orders to China will be shipped via one of the Chinese largest logistics and customs brokers which will give you the best value and Service.

We offer free delivery if the purchase exceeds $168 before tax.

For Icewine, Wine products and nutrition supplements, we offer free shipping.

For other products except for Maple Syrup, we offer half price for shipping if the order total exceeds $100.

Shipping Options for the United States

All shipping to the United States is by Canada Post, as soon as your order has arrived in the United States, you can also track your order details on USPS.com.

Shipping Options for other countries

We offer shipping by Canada Post Parcel which provides the best combination of value and service.

Processing Time

Your order will be shipped within 2 business days after receiving your order, if all items are in stock and there are no abnormal circumstances.

Insurance

Shipping charges include insurance of up to CAN$100.00.  If your order is more than CAN$100, we suggest that you buy additional insurance. UCanada is not responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
